SKATING RESULTS

Ivan’s proven results for his private clients speak loudly. 

For successive years, he has achieved remarkable successes with students winning medals at various competitions throughout New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida. He has also trained a student from the ground up, to the point of qualifying for U.S. Nationals at the Juvenile level.

From 2013 to the summer of 2015, Ivan served as the Head Coach of the figure skating program for EduSkating, a premier program of Proud Nation, Inc. that was certified by the Olympic Development Program Committee.  Ivan trains both children and adults as a figure skating/harness coach, with strong emphasis on competitive techniques and jumps. He coaches students at both recreational and competitive/elite levels and his students enjoyed highly successful competitive seasons in both 2014 and 2015, including a Connecticut-based student who advanced to Regionals in 2015.

Ivan’s reputation as a go-to coach with a unique ability to convey technical know-how to his students is grounded in his extensive practical experience as a competitor, both in the U.S. and also internationally. In 2011 and 2012, he competed in Senior Pairs at U.S. Nationals with the current 2015 Senior Pairs National Champion, Alexa Scimeca, where the two earned a Top 10 finish in 2012.

Ivan recently relocated to Ft. Myers, Florida, where he is very much looking forward to training new students as a private coach. He currently is coaching at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida as well as AdventHealth Center Ice in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
